Manami Ozaki is an author and journalist of some amazing Horimono focused books (and others too). She did an AMA on Reddit that is worth reading.

I guess the universe does not want me to have this book. First, I found it at the library and checked it out. When I got home, I discovered that someone had stolen the book from inside the cover and replaced it with a random magazine. I really wanted this book so I bought a copy on eBay. It was shipped from Osaka and has somehow gotten lost in delivery. I give up!
The book is titled Japanese Traditional Tattoos. It is one of three in a series. This book features many Horishi including Horitoshi 1.
Update: Maybe I am destined to receive this book. It seems it is out for delivery!
Update: Still hasn’t arrived. Very weird tracking information. Still not sure I will ever receive this book.🤣

刺青は痛いですね。この傑作は彫宇之先生の作品です。
Tattoos are painful, aren’t they? This masterpiece is the work of Master Horiuno III.
